  • Ensuring appropriate fire door signs are installed, such as “Fire Door – Keep Shut” on non-exit doors or “Fire Exit – Keep Clear” on designated exit doors.

  • Inspect any glass panels within the fire door to confirm they are fire-rated and intact.

Functionality Test

Confirm that latches, locks, and other ironmongery components are operational and allow the door to close securely without sticking

 Verifying that the door opens freely and that any automatic closing devices are operational.
