Two-thirds of UK businesses likely to fail spot HSE inspections, study reveals
2000 individuals were surveyed
68% feel their organisation would probably not comply with on-the-spot inspections
A fifth admitted their organisation had faced enforcement action from the GB Health and Safety Executive (HSE)
10% of these had been handed a fine
50% said their data would not comply with the Health and Safety at Work Act
86% acknowledged that improvements in data quality, completeness and consistency are needed in their processes.
