The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 requires you to provide whatever information, instruction, training, and supervision as is necessary to ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, the health and safety at work of your employees.

Like many employers, you may not be in a position to provide this training on your own, in which case our competent trainers are here to help.

Asbestos Awareness Training

Employer must provide relevant information, instruction and or training to anyone who is likely to work on or near asbestos containing materials.

Our training covers an understanding of how to comply with the Control of Asbestos Regulations 2012, the health risk, how to develop an asbestos management plan and more.

Fire Safety Awareness Training

Our fire safety training provides staff with key information about the fire risk and associated hazards in the workplace and practical steps that should be taken to reduce the risk of a fire starting.

It also explains individual’s legal responsibilities, the common causes of fires, fire safety emergency procedures arrangements and more.

Fire Marshal / Warden Training

This course will provide designated fire marshal and wardens with an in-depth knowledge and understanding to enable them to carry out the duties and functions of fire marshal and fire wardens.

Topics covered includes an understanding of fire safety legislation, the fire triangle, fire evacuation procedures, assessing fire hazards and risk, fire prevention, types and use of fire extinguishers etc.

Health and Safety Awareness

As an introduction to health and safety in the workplace, this course covers some of the most important aspect of health and safety in the workplace such as employees health and safety responsibilities, fire safety awareness, COSHH, risk assessment, Display Screen Equipment, accident and incident at work, manual handling and more.

Legionella Awareness Training

The Health and Safety Executive’s ACOP L8 provides an in-depth guide to how duty holders can comply with their legal duties. As a result, our legionella awareness training covers each of the duties outlined in the ACOP L8, the legal responsibilities of “Duty Holders”, legionella risk in the workplace, risk assessment requirement and suitable control measures to prevent or reduce the risk to vulnerable persons at work.

Moving and Handling Training

Our manual handling training provides staff with the necessary information and training to enable them to work safely, such as; how to manage risk associated with manual handling, how to assess these risks and ensure appropriate control measures are put in place and the principles and practices of carrying out safe manual handling.
